West Brompton Worlds End
Welcome to West Brompton & World’s End, a distinct corner of West London where heritage and modern city life meet. Bordering Chelsea, Earl’s Court, and Fulham, this area offers the best of London living — elegant architecture, boutique cafés, and easy access to the capital’s cultural and shopping districts. Quietly residential yet undeniably central, it’s an address with both sophistication and charm.
Quiet, residential West Brompton is home to Stamford Bridge stadium, where the Chelsea Football Club plays and which offers guided and audio tours. The Finborough Theatre stages contemporary plays, while down-to-earth North End Road has global eateries and a colourful market selling street food and produce. Famous names buried at leafy Brompton Cemetery include Emmeline Pankhurst and 19th-century physician John Snow.
A little-used name for a semi-rural locality beside Salmon's Brook on the western edge of Enfield. World's Ends were once dotted all around the outer edges of London as this was a popular name for a remote house or farm, often located at a parish boundary.
